A leader in its field in Saudi Arabia, this
division is Hoshan Company Limited's oldest and largest. Starting
in calculators and typewriters this division has developed into
selling the full range of office products. By the mid seventies,
this division began to offer copiers to its clients. Today, and
over the past two years it has achieved the leading market share
position in Saudi Arabia. It was the first company to offer facsimile
machines in Saudi Arabia and 27 years later it is the dominant
player in this market offering the latest technology.
The market spread of the division
is so wide that we can safely assume that it is in almost every
Saudi office. Aside from its sale of various office hardware,
the division offers a number of complementary solutions such as
document management, POS, and networked printing/copying solutions.
In addition, this division handles operations and maintenance
contracts of government computer centers.
In support of the above, this
division has also created its own software development department
that works on adapting certain hardware and software applications
currently being offered to suit local applications to the Arabic
language.
